  Contact your current Internet provider. Some Companies may require a 1 month notice.
   
How Do I Change My Login Username, Password, or Local Dial-Up Number?
  All changes to your internet account settings on your personal pc may be changed through Internet Options. Quick ways to access Internet Options:
a) Right click on the Internet Explorer icon, go to Properties
b) On any webpage, click on Tool and the choose Internet Options
Once you are in Internet Options, to change your User Name and/or Password, click on the Connection Tab. Then choose Settings. At the bottom, you will see the place to type in your User Name and/or Password. To change the local dial up phone number, click on Properites and the option to key in a phone number will be displayed. Be sure not to use the area code properties if you are local.
   
How Do I Change Or Add E-Mail Accounts?
  Contact Computer Central with any changes to your email account. We will need to change your information on our system as well.

  Billing invoices and statements are emailed monthly. With any questions regarding your bill, please call 252-243-1398.

  To change your credit card information, please come in or call. You will need to show verification before changing credit card information. No credit card information will be given out from the staff of Computer Central.

  To check the amount of online usage, call Computer Central at 252-243-1398. We will be able to give you current information regarding your online hours.

How Do I Connect While Traveling?
  To use your dial up account while traveling, simply find an available phone outlet to plug your phone cord into. NOTE: If you are traveling outside of the local Wilson calling area, long distance charges will apply. You will also need to be sure to dial the area code.
   
How Do I Check E-Mail from Work or a Friend's House?
  To check your email from any location, go to www.cocentral.com, click on Webmail. Type in your user name and password and click login. This will allow you to view any new messages.
   
How Does Our ISP Fight Spammers?
  Computer Central offers a Spam Folder on the Webmail site. Certain filters are set up and designed to filter Spam messages. Spam messages can be viewed up to 7 days by visiting your webmail account. See question 9 for instrutions on viewing your webmail account.

  One of the best ways to fight spammers is to limit the amount of different places you give your email address to online.

  Removing pop-up ads and spyware from your personal pc can be a little tricky. Certain software can be downloaded onto your computer that has the tools to remove pop-up ads and spyware. One kind of software that is highly recommended is Ad-Aware Personal. The software is a free download that can be found at www.lavasoft.com.
