Email Setup
How to setup Computer Central Email on an Iphone or Android or Outlook.
IPhone Setup.
- Click on Settings,
- Mail Contacts and Calendar
- Add Account
- Other
- Add Mail Account
- Fill out your Name, full email address, password and a brief description, then click on next on the top right.
- choose “POP”
- the Name email and description should already be filled out.
- Fill in the Incoming Mail server information
- Host Name: mail.cocentral.com
- Username: Full email address (name@cocentral.com)
- Password: Re-enter your Password
- Fill out Outgoing mail server information
- Host name: mail.cocentral.com
- Username: Full email address
- Password: Re-enter your password.
- Click on next on the top right of the screen.
- This process may take a couple minutes to complete. It will probably give an error stating that it can’t contact the server, if this happens just click on continue. If it happens a second time, just click continue. You want to get to a point to where you can save the email account. You will have to go back in and edit the server ports.
- Once the email account has been saved go back into your settings and mail, contacts and calendar area.
- Once there choose your email account. This page will look similar to the one where you setup your email account however at the bottom of the screen you will see outgoing email server. Click on this option. The next page will have an option for Primary Server, Click on this option.
- The next page will have all the options for the outgoing server. here you will have to make some changes. Un-Select use SSL. Then change the sever port to port “25” and then click Done in the top right corner.
- Once this verifies it will take you back to the outgoing server page. hit the back button on the top left of the screen, this will take you to the settings page for the email account.
- scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a link for advanced. Click on advanced.
- On that page will be an area for Incoming server settings. Un-Select use SSL, and change the server port to 110. Click the Back button and this will verify all of the settings. once verified you should be able to go to your mail programs and view your mail.
Samsung Galaxy Series / Android Setup
- Click on Settings
- Click on Accounts
- Click on Add Account
- Choose Email
- On the Email Accounts page, enter in your full email address and password.
- Choose Manual Setup
- choose POP3 Account
- Fill out this page with the following information

- Email Address: Full Email Address
- Username: Full Email Address
- Password: your password
- POP3 server: mail.cocentral.com
- Security Type: None
- Port: 110
- Click on Next.
- Fill out the Outgoing Server Settings with the following information

- SMTP Server: mail.cocentral.com
- Security Type: None
- Port: 25
- Require Sign On: Check it
- Username: Full Email Address
- Password: Your Password
- Click Next.
- Choose your account options. such as Sync Schedule
- Click next, verify that the Account is properly named.
- Click Next.
- Setup is finished, you can now open your email program and check your email
Outlook Setup
Outlook 2010 & 2013
- Open Outlook
- Click on File in the top left corner.
- Choose Info on the left side of the screen
- choose Add Account to the right of that.
- At the bottom of the dialog box choose Manually configure server settings. then click next
- Choose Internet Email, then click next. (POP or IMAP, for 2013)
- Fill out the Following information

- Your Name: Enter your Name here
- Email Address: enter your full email address
- Account type: POP3
- Incoming mail server: mail.cocentral.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.cocentral.com
- Username: Full Email Address
- Password: Your Password
- Check Remember Password.
- Leave Require Logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) unchecked.
- Click on the More Settings button in the bottom right corner, this will bring up a new dialog box with the following tabs, general, outgoing server, connection, advanced.
- Click on the outgoing server tab.
- Choose the check box that reads “My outgoing server (SMTP) Requires authentication. This will then allow you to enter in the sever information
- Choose the bullet button that says Log On Using. and enter your full email address and password.
- Then click on the advanced tab.
- Ensure that the Incoming server is on port 110 and outgoing server is on port 25.
- Ensure that the “this server requires an encrypted connection is unchecked.
- Ensure that the leave a copy of messages on the server is checked.
- then click on OK. This will take you back to the main email settings dialog box.
- Click Next on the bottom right of the screen. This will test your email account, then click finish to complete the setup.
- You may now check your email in outlook.
